About Rahul X

Not a blog. Not a portfolio. Rahulx.com is the closest thing I have to a personal internet headquarters — one address where what I'm learning, what I'm building, and what I'm curious about all live under one search bar.

What this actually is

I'm Rahul — an independent writer and developer, and Rahulx.com is my own infrastructure, not a template. Most personal sites are either a portfolio (here's my resume, hire me) or a blog (here's what I think). This is closer to a personal knowledge-and-project operating system: a place where a UPSC aspirant's rapid-revision notes, a real Android app I shipped, a from-scratch explainer on how transformers work, and a free password generator all sit under one roof, one design language, and one search box — because they're all things I actually use or built, not content assembled to look busy.

Explore. Learn. Build.

Everything on the site collapses into three verbs, plus a fourth for whatever doesn't fit a category:

Search ties it together

Every page, tool, glossary term, and UPSC topic on the site is in one search index. The search bar on the homepage (and in the navigation on every page) looks across all of it at once — so if you half-remember a term, a tool, or a topic and don't know which section it lives in, you don't need to know: just search RahulX. Answering questions with AI directly from that same search bar is the next thing on the roadmap.

The Projects page — proof of work

Most of this site is writing and reference material. The Projects page is different: it's a running record of software I've actually built and shipped, not just covered. It starts with ToDoX, a privacy-first Android to-do app that works fully offline in Guest Mode and syncs via Firebase only if you choose to sign in. More apps, websites, AI experiments, and open-source tools get added here as they ship — this page is built to grow.

Why the sci-fi aesthetic

The visual style — dark interfaces, HUD panels, glowing telemetry — isn't decoration for its own sake. Most of what's covered here (AI, space, robotics, even the future of money) would have sounded like science fiction a generation ago. The design is a small reminder that we're already living in someone's "future," and it's worth understanding rather than just scrolling past.

How this site is built and funded

Rahulx.com is hand-built with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no ad-heavy templates, no autoplay, no dark patterns. It's supported by a small amount of display advertising and, eventually, reader support, which keeps the articles and every tool completely free to use. Advertising never influences the opinions or rankings published here — see the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy for the specifics of how ads and data are handled.

Editorial approach

Articles here are written to be understandable on a first read, sourced from primary material and reputable reporting where possible, and updated when facts change — especially on fast-moving topics like AI tools and market conditions. On genuinely contested subjects (ethics, political ideologies), the goal is to lay out the strongest version of each position rather than pick a side for you.
